Badminton is more than Malaysia's national pride — it's a real opportunity to win. At Bonus99, you can bet live on every set, every point, and every match featuring Malaysia's top players on the world stage.
Bet live while the match is in progress — odds updated every second
If you're a serious Malaysian badminton fan, you know exactly how gripping it is to follow Lee Zii Jia in a tense third set, or to watch Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik go head-to-head against an Indonesian pair. Now imagine those matches becoming even more electrifying — because you have a real stake in every single point played.
That's exactly what Bonus99 delivers through our badminton betting platform. It's not just about placing a bet before the match starts — you can bet live as the action unfolds. Odds shift with every rally, every missed serve, every set that changes hands. You're not just watching the game — you're part of it.
Bonus99 offers what is arguably the most comprehensive badminton coverage among betting platforms in Malaysia. From the prestigious BWF Super 1000 tournaments all the way down to the National Badminton Championships, we cover every match that matters. Every BWF World Tour event — Super 1000, Super 750, Super 500, Super 300 — is on our radar. The Thomas Cup, Uber Cup, Sudirman Cup, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games and SEA Games are all available for Bonus99 players to follow and bet on.
One of the standout features of the Bonus99 badminton platform is the sheer variety of markets on offer. Many new players assume badminton betting is simply picking the winner — but Bonus99 actually offers over 200 different markets for every major badminton match. From overall match winner and per-set winner, to total points per set (over/under), point handicap, and correct score — it's all here. For more experienced bettors, there are markets like who reaches 10 points first in a specific set, or whether a set will finish with under or over 40 total points.
These players are the top draws for Malaysian badminton fans on our platform
From the start of the year to the very end, the international badminton calendar is packed with exciting tournaments — and Bonus99 covers them all. Here are the major tournaments you can bet on throughout the season:
| Market Types | Description |
|---|---|
| Match Winner | Predict the player or pair who wins the overall match |
| Set Handicap | Set handicap given to the weaker team |
| Individual Set Winner | Predict the winner of Set 1, Set 2 or Set 3 individually |
| Points Over/Under | Total match points over or under the target line |
| Exact Set Score | Predict the exact set score (2-0 or 2-1) |
| First to 10 Points | Which player reaches 10 points first in a given set |
| Live Points Handicap | Handicap odds that update in real time during the match |
| Tournament Winner | Predict the overall tournament champion before or during the event |
Ask any Malaysian badminton fan who has been using Bonus99 for a while and they will tell you the same thing — this platform truly understands how much badminton means to local fans. It is not just about one or two big tournaments; every match involving Malaysian players anywhere in the world gets full attention.
Take the Malaysia Open at Axiata Arena, Kuala Lumpur, for example. Other platforms may only offer basic markets. At Bonus99, we come prepared with over 200 markets for every major match, scores updated in near real time, and odds for Malaysian players and teams that carry a reasonable margin — because we know this market is close to our users' hearts.
One underrated advantage is the ability to check head-to-head records between two players before placing your bet. On Bonus99's match page, every head-to-head record is displayed clearly — how many times they've faced each other, how many wins each player holds, and which tournaments those meetings took place in. This is especially valuable for matches like Lee Zii Jia vs. Axelsen, two players who have met multiple times in BWF finals.
Another thing that makes the Bonus99 badminton betting experience so convenient is our mobile platform. Most BWF matches air during Malaysian evenings — between 7 pm and 11 pm — when many of our players are winding down at home, having dinner or relaxing with family while watching the match on TV. With the Bonus99 app on your phone, you can place bets, monitor odds and cash out without ever having to sit in front of a computer.
For players new to badminton betting, Bonus99 has a quick in-platform guide explaining how to read odds, how badminton handicap markets work, and basic strategies for choosing markets that suit your experience level. We believe players who understand the platform have more fun — and keep coming back.
Bonus99's badminton promotions are just as generous. During major tournaments like the Thomas Cup or All England, we typically run special offers — from extra deposit bonuses for badminton bets to exclusive prediction challenges where players who correctly call the full results stand to win special prizes. Follow your Bonus99 account notifications so you never miss out on these deals.
The whole process — from registration to sitting back and betting on your favourite badminton match — takes less than 5 minutes. Here's how:
Real experiences from our members who are serious about badminton betting
"I've been a die-hard Lee Zii Jia fan since the very start of his career. When Bonus99 introduced live markets for every set he plays, I couldn't miss a match. During his game against Axelsen at last year's All England, I cashed out with a RM 2,200 profit while Zii Jia was leading in the third set. Hands down the best platform for badminton."
"I've followed Aaron Chia and Wooi Yik since their junior days. When they play the Thomas Cup, Bonus99 covers every team match — not just individual games. The odds for Malaysian pairs are fair and competitive. I deposited via Touch 'n Go and was placing bets within a minute. Well done, Bonus99!"
"Before I switched to Bonus99, I was using another platform where the badminton odds were always slow to update. On Bonus99, the odds shift with every single point — it genuinely feels like watching a live match. Last week I won RM 1,850 from a set handicap bet on Pearly/Thinaah. Withdrawing to GrabPay was fast and straightforward."
